Update

More, or MOAR! as I like to say it, more sketching, well, maybe just more learning....
I am reminded of things I have heard in the past... stop finishing, start practicing, which means, don't fuss over the end result, just get good at the process itself, and do it over and over until it is ready to produce results without thinking about it too much.

recent images

from most recent to previous sketches, these are meant to serve as self tutorials for me to familiarize myself with the available tools.  These were done in Sketchbook Pro, with a wacom intros 5.

I think that this is looking wet enough.

here is sketch #2, a 30 minute torus

Well, this is it.  The door is open, all I have to do is to walk through it and down the path of learning how to navigate the landscape.  The wacom intuos 5 sits in front of me.  The stylus is waiting.  I have tutorials opened, programs running and headphones on.
I'll try to post up progress reports on the things I create.  I'll have to see how it goes.

today, I did a sphere in about 15 minutes.

The ground color has little to do with the sphere, it looks juxtaposed.  I suppose if they were more compatible colors that they would better jive on the screen.
I am quite pleased with it real, despite being driven right off of a tutorial.
